Community Involvement
HPMC is strongly committed to being a good corporate citizen and supports local organizations that reflect our corporate culture and marketplace. In addition, HPMC supports our employees both with donations and paid time to pursue personal charitable interests. This is true regardless of where our employees work. In other words, HPMC supports our employees nationwide just as we support our local staff.
Some of HPMC's community involvement activities include:

Habitat for Humanity
On October 5, 2019, HPMC staff and their family and friends volunteered to help finish a house in Pasco. We had a great weather day, painting exterior trim and getting to know each other a bit more. Habitat for Humanity is a great organization ran mostly by volunteers, helping low income community members become homeowners. To learn more, visit http://habitatbuilds.com.

Tri-Tech Skills Center
On January 31, OHW Manager coordinated a booth for the Tri- Tech Skills Center High School and Beyond Night. Our booth featured information on various careers in occupational medicine. Approximately 1,000 students and parents attended with over 80 exhibitors providing information on various vocational, academic study, and career paths.

Union Gospel Mission
Thank you HPMC Occupational Medical Clinic for all for of your generous donations! They took over 80 jackets and coats to the Union Gospel Mission in Pasco. That’s about one coat for every HPMC OMS employee! Cherise gave us a tour of their amazing new Men’s Shelter. We were all thoroughly impressed and be assured that your donations are much appreciated and needed. If you have not toured their new facility, please do. It was an eye opener for us and filled us with gratitude for what they do for those in need in our community. They have a new Women’s and Children’s Shelter as well a couple of blocks away. We also learned of other needs they have that many of us can fulfill, such as teaching a class or serving meals in the kitchen.
